Naturally the well-endowed bookshelves dominate, however, the pictures displayed here include Bliss by the nineteenth-century genre painter Erskine Nicol who enjoyed an extended career in Ireland, and a portrait by the Irish painter William John Leech of his wife Elizabeth, done when they were on honeymoon. The large bathroom looks out over the Pleasure Grounds and the Cascade.
