The Duke was born in The Merrion, and his brother William Wellesley Pole would go on to become of the owners of Ballyfin and its lands. Wine Geese Package - 1 Night
With the flight of the "Wild Geese" in the late 1600s came a long-standing tradition of Irish Winemaking. "Wild Geese" refers to the departure of Irish soldiers to France following the Willamite-Jacobite war. The term "Wine Geese" emerged later to describe those emigrant soldiers and families who became involved in the wine trade. Many of these families played a crucial role in developing France's wine industry, most notably in Bordeaux.

New Years Celebration Package
